Upon my recent stay at Boutique- und Businesshotel Herrenküferei, I was drawn in by its charming old-world atmosphere, despite a few hiccups. The double room was functional, with a cozy seating area that featured a LCD TV and a minibar-perfect for those late-night snacks when you're unwinding after a day of exploration. Although the breakfast left much to be desired with its limited variety, I did appreciate the fine quality of the other meals at the hotel's restaurant, serving both traditional and modern dishes. Not all was rosy, though-soundproofing could be improved, as I found myself jolted awake by footsteps echoing in the historic building. Finally, while the staff seemed a tad unenthusiastic, the hotel's lovely location near Stuttgart Airport and the scenic Schloss Monrepos Golf Club made it a worthwhile stopover.
